Privacy Policy
On Plane Consulting LLC (“On Plane,” “we,” “us”) is an HR consulting firm based in Louisville, Kentucky. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit onplane.com, including the People Cost Snapshot at onplane.com/snapshot, how we use it, and the choices you have.
It covers our website only. Work we do for clients is covered by our client agreements.
Information you give us
We collect what you type into forms on our site.

The Snapshot asks for ranges, not exact figures, and doesn’t ask for your name or email to show your result.
Information we collect automatically
When you visit our site, we and our partners use cookies and similar tools. Except for the Snapshot usage counts and basic technical details below, these only run after you click Accept on our cookie banner.
- HubSpot cookies. These record the pages you view, when, and the site or link that brought you here. If you later fill in one of our forms, HubSpot connects your earlier visits to your contact record.
- Visitor identification. We work with Carroll Media Corp (Alli) to identify some website visitors. Their tool may match your visit to information they hold from other sources, such as your name, email address, mailing address, and the page or ad that brought you to our site. We use this to follow up with people who may be interested in our services.
- Snapshot usage counts. Vercel Web Analytics counts how people move through the Snapshot, such as which step they reach and which result range they see. These counts use categories and ranges only. They never include your name, email, typed text, or dollar amounts.
- Basic technical details. Like most websites, our hosts receive your IP address, browser type, and device type when you load a page. We may use your IP address to estimate your general location, such as your city or region.
How we use your information

- To understand how people use our site and the Snapshot, and to improve them

We do not sell your personal information. We do not call or text you unless you have given us your phone number and asked us to.
Who we share it with
We share information only with companies that help us run our site and business, and only for those purposes.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or with a buyer if On Plane is ever sold or merged.
Your choices
- Cookies. Click Decline on our cookie banner and HubSpot tracking and visitor identification won’t run. To change your choice later, use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page, or clear your cookies for onplane.com and the banner will appear again.
- Marketing emails. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. You can also email us and we’ll stop. If you agreed to phone calls, you can withdraw that at any time by telling us on a call or by email.
- See, correct, or delete your information. Email us at hello@onplane.com. We’ll respond within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity first.
- Your browser. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a Decline.
How long we keep it
We keep contact information while we have a business relationship with you, or until you ask us to delete it. We delete visitor identification results we don’t follow up on within 12 months.
Security
We limit access to your information to the people who need it and use trusted service providers. No website is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee it.
Children
Our site is for businesses. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the effective date at the top of this page.
